Pre-processing software

Magics or similar software is used to import 3D CAD model and converting the file into a STL-representation, setting the build strategy for the parts, creating supports and exporting the part and support model in a STL-format to the EBM Build Assembler.

EBM Build Assembler (build preparation)

The EBM Build Assembler is used to import the STL files from the pre-processing software, and slices the files into 2D compressed layer files, which are then assigned and assembled into Arcam Build Files.

The EBM Control Software (EBM process set-up, simulation and operation)

The EBM control is used to import Arcam Build Files from EBM Build Assembler, setting up, simulating and run the machine process. 

EBM LogStudio™ (Part build Quality Control)

EBM LogStudio is used to verify that the build process ran within the parameters specified for the built batch.
